Another hauling service was a no call/no show to my appointment, then called later to see if they could reschedule me... at their convenience. Because Heck had not frozen over, I passed on the 1-800-GOT-HOSED repeat adventure and contacted Junk Masters. It was incredibly easy to book online, and they made good on every promise (to call, to help, to offer a great rate). Tyler and Paul were incredible - friendly, funny, easy going, very professional, and respectful of both me and my stuff (they deserve their own franchise or nine); my donations were on and gone in moments ... and the final price was a significant savings over the other idiots. Now that I'm on the far side of the haul, I'm glad it felt apart with the first service; I cannot recommend Junk Masters enough. We had a lot of furniture and household items that we wanted to be sure could be donated rather than taken to the... landfill. Junk Masters was the perfect fit for this need based on their working relationship with the Twin Cities nonprofit organization, Bridging. In addition, the Junk Masters team was incredibly responsive to our initial call for an estimate and were quick to schedule our appointment. The team that did the job was punctual and friendly. In fact, every one of our interactions with any Junk Masters team member was friendly. My sense was that the job took a bit more time and muscle than the team anticipated. Nevertheless they stuck to the fixed quote they gave me prior to starting the work. I would recommend Junk Masters to anyone wanting a hauler that does what they say they will do, when they say they will do it and for the price they promised.read more

Called for a same day removal. Original call was at 10:30am. Estimate and removal was scheduled to be done by 2:00pm.... Turns out they had a huge pickup before us (hot tub, safe, bedroom set). They called to keep us updated and everything was picked up by 3:30pm. Communication was great. The service was reasonably priced and everything was done as expected. We would absolutely use them again. I would recommend the team that worked on our job; however, I am not able to remember the names.read more

Needed a heap of yard waste hauled and a few other odds and ends. Junk Masters made it clear that they actually DO haul... yard waste. Other vendors whose websites I visited (when they showed up in yard waste hauling search) did not specifically list that. Quite a bit more expensive than I’d prepared for given the tentative quote over the phone (I did have an extra item I... didn’t mention when getting the quote because I’d forgotten, but it was still a tremendous jump in price, ultimately close to double when the extra item was a small ottoman). That aside, they were exactly as advertised — timely, efficient, and professional. Not to mention kind. One of the haulers mentioned during casual chat that his day had started 5 hours ago — 5 hours of hauling junk around and you’re still massively friendly? I wouldn’t be, that’s for sure. Much respect. All in all a great experience, I’d say just be *really* really detailed when describing your items and hopefully the gap between quote and reality won’t be quite as cast as mine was.read more

I really recommend using Junk Masters if you need anything removed from your home. They were able to price match... another big name competitor that wasn’t local to Minneapolis. I was able to text a picture of my couch for an estimate and set everything up via text as well. Their communication was amazing and they showed up right on time and hauled it away in less than 15 minutes (it was a HUGE reclining L-shaped couch). Junk Masters was definitely a GREAT Choice for us to clear out my Father's home, after his passing. Mitch came out and... gave a us a quote, then the very next day, Otto, Carter and Braden, came out and cleared out my Father's home of 60 years as I watched from afar. The empathy and extreme care they took in removing these items from his house was all I could hope for. Even though they were going to dispose of everything, never once did they treat his belongings like junk. Also when they completed an area, Otto or Carter took me on a walk through to make sure nothing was missed. Truly amazing service. The before and after shots really show what they can do. They removed an old couch and several landscaping railroad ties. The railroad ties are crazy heavy and not every dump... accepts them (which I found out last year when trying to get rid of several others). Super happy with the service and price. These two young men came out to give me a quote and they were so professional and polite. I ended up having them remove... an entire one bedroom condo all the furnishings and junk left from renters as well as A kitchen and a bathroom that we removed, flooring stores etc. They fit it all into one and a quarter truck and charge me accordingly. They had... the right equipment and did a great job removing my chain link fence and poles that were cemented in. They hauled away the fence, a concrete pile, and various other items from our home. In the past 14 years I have written one Yelp review for a restaurant and no Google reviews. It's just not my thing.... That said, I am taking the time to sing the praises of Junk Masters because they really did an amazing job.We are getting ready to move soon and we had a backroom in our basement full of things we really could not deal with: old furniture, boxes of knick-knacks, old coffee makers, scrap wood, and random large things that would just not be allowed "out on the curb" for our weekly garbage man.We also had a giant shed in our backyard that had just been demolished to make room for our garden.We found Junk Masters online based on their positive reviews, and were impressed by how they try to repurpose and find good homes for useful items.Let me tell you, it can be an embarrassing, strange feeling to let someone into your house and say "We just don't know how to deal with these items."Peyton and Otto showed up on time, were totally professional and friendly, and no matter what I said "...This is such a mess" or "I don't know if you'll be able to deal with that" every single answer was, literally, "No problem! - Totally easy! - We do this all the time." -- I felt so relieved and so thankful.Within a little more than an hour, our giant shed was gone and our basement room which had been packed to the ceiling for more than a decade was totally empty. - Empty to the floor! - It was such a great, unbelievable feeling.The money we spent on Junk Masters was worth every penny, and I don't hesitate to say that this was the best customer experience "experience" I've had in at least 3+ years. Had a great experience today!! Reached out yesterday evening via text to get a quote for removal of a disassembled shed... and some beat up patio furniture. Was thrilled to get an immediate response(on a Sunday evening no less). Set up for a team to come out today to give me an estimate. Communication was great with several email reminders and a 30 minute call ahead warning. Mitch and his partner(sorry can't remember his name) were friendly and surveyed what they needed to remove. Mitch gave me a quote and I accepted and the immediately did the job. Also told me I didn't need to stick around so I could take care of other things. Mitch sent be photos of before and after plus the truck to show the work completed. Conveniently able to pay via a link sent via text once the job was completed. They were careful of furniture and... walls getting 2 large dressers out of a small bedroom .It’s wet, cold and snowy here. They were not careful about wet shoes; we needed to ask them to either remove shoes or get booties so as not to track on a light colored rug.
