The 2-man crew showed up on time and provided us with an estimate that was hundreds of dollars lower than the other company we checked with for a total cleanout of Mom's apartment. Will and Dillon were courteous, friendly and efficient. Three hours later, Mom's 1 bedroom apartment (on the second floor & only one working elevator) was empty. The crew had correctly estimated the cost, everything was gone and we didn't lift a finger. 🤸♀️ The guys said the items would be donated or recycled, with the landfill being a last resort. I would definitely use them again & highly recommend Junk Masters to anyone needing a total cleanout.

A friend recommended Junk Masters for getting rid of unwanted furniture. I liked that they partner with Bridging in Bloomington and deliver useable items there before disposing of the rest. At least some of what was picked up will be reused rather than just dumped in a landfill. Junk Masters provided prompt service. They were friendly, professional and efficient. We were very pleased with their service.

Great communication with day and time scheduling. The crew called with a 20 minute arrival time...Very nice! The crew was very professional. The only negative was the tip request on the ipad checkout. One cannot continue with the checkout without entering a tip amount. I was a bit surprised.

This company was timely, professional, conscientious and courteous. I couldn’t have asked for more. The pick-up pros that came to my home explained their pricing and what sets them apart from other junk haulers in the area. They don’t deposit to landfills and work to recycle as much of the materials as possible. It sounds like they probably donate furniture and household items in reasonable shape. They indicated they are a green company. All this plus their prompt and reliable service equal 5 Stars in my book. They may be slightly more than other cos, but if they are doing something ”for” and not “against” the environment the minimal cost difference is well used. I am so glad I discovered Junk Masters while I prepared for a home showing.

I was given a 2-hour window in which Junk Masters would arrive to give me an estimate and, if I accepted the estimate to remove my junk. They called me to tell me they were on the way and when they would arrive. They gave me an estimate which I thought was very fair - I accepted the estimate and they loaded up my junk. This all happened within the original 2-hour window. They were fast and efficient. Would I hire them again? Absolutely, yes! They will be my first call the next time I require this type of service.

Excellent service. We compared different services and decided on these professionals. Within 15mins we had a text and call confirmation for our booking. We had a variety of items from an old lawnmower (electric) to a disassembled crib. On the day, they called and let us know when they were on the way, gave us the final price that was less than we expected and hauled everything away efficiently. Would recommend and will be using them again in the future.

We had a hot tub for 17 years and it cracked. We didn’t know what to do so it sat for over 2 years taking up space. Then I googled and found JunkMasters. What a delightful service! I sent them the pictures of the tub and the dimensions. They gave a very reasonable quote and said they would send 2 guys to cut it up and haul it away. It was hard work and I’m so glad I didn’t have to do it myself. Now we have a beautiful new sitting area where one was a useless space. The guys had it done in about an hour! So great! We were preparing our house to sell and the stager had last minute things to remove from our list and add to our list and Caleb was quick to reply, flexible and understanding. I got quotes from three different companies for removal of a big pile of fallen limbs and yard debris. Junk Masters was slightly more than the cheapest option, but I hired them due to their employees being so awesome! The first company to come and give a free quote put a lot of pressure on me to act immediately, and when I said to the workers that I would need time to compare other prices, I then got a phone call from the manager who continued to push me and complain about how he had already lost money due to sending his guys out to my place. Junk Masters' employees showed up, gave a quote with no pressure, and were happy to come back a few days later to remove the pile. I can't remember their names, but they were AWESOME and super fast getting the job done! It was worth the extra bit of money because their customer service was top notch.

A pretty good experience. They were responsive with communication, showed up on time, and took the time to talk with us on options for the project. Their crew worked hard in over 100 degree weather and had such great teamwork and rapport. We were clearing an entire house for a relative who died, and they went above and beyond, stopping to ask us if they found anything that we may have missed that may be important (papers, pictures, etc.). There were even wasp nests in the outdoor furniture and they took care of those, even though we wouldn't have expected them to. We had a miscommunication about the bid, and they resolved it quickly and thoroughly. Their pricing was competitive and the staff were great.One star removed because there were a bunch of small items of junk still scattered all around the carpet throughout the house, some decorations that hadn't been taken off the wall, etc. I called Caleb and he did get back to me and offered to send some guys out promptly to take care of those items, but around that time, we'd decided to remove the carpet instead of cleaning it, so it would not have been worth it. I would still definitely use Junk Masters again because it was overall a great experience, but just make sure you review at the end to make sure everything you wanted out has been removed.

I had a great experience start to finish with Junk Masters when I needed a short notice same day service! I was given a basic verbal quote when I called, given a 2 hour window when they could send someone out (only 2 hours after I called) & was told I'd be given a free no obligation quote & if I agreed the service would be done right then & there. The team of 2 were very friendly, quick, and the cost was very reasonable. They gave me accurate pricing quotes before beginning the service & allowed me to add additional items throughout the service to be tossed while keeping me updated with the additional charges as I added things. Blake did a great job moving all that rock to our backyard. He laid down heavy mats so our lawn still looks perfect. Start to finish was two hours. That would have taken us a week with a wheelbarrow, not to mention the sore muscles. VERY happy with the result!

While the two gentlemen that worked with us on-site and the person I spoke with to make the appointment were great, I was disappointed by the promotion of sustainability and donations only to realize that most of our items (dishware, drinkware, cookware, decor, linens) were dumped into trash bags. When I posed the question to the workers, they said the partner(s) they worked with, mainly Bridging, were very picky and only took certain items. I realize I should have been more specific with my donation questions. I certainly would have intervened and salvaged items that I know are taken by many other locations to assist families.

Some initial confusion on their end over pricing and availability, but they ultimately came to my place from the other side of town on the same day. Helped me out big time by hauling away several large items I didn't have the time to dispose of myself as we're only days away from an out of state relocation. The service is pricey as they will also charge you for things like travel and recycling fees, but in this particular case I was willing to pay for it given my predicament. The gentleman who showed up to do the job was no nonsense and professional, which I also appreciated. You could obviously save a ton doing jobs like this on your own, but if you can't or won't for whatever reason I would definitely recommend Junk Masters based upon my experience.

They were able to schedule a service the same week as I wanted things removed, and were able to do it quickly and for a reasonable price. Would overall recommend.A few notes:- As of the date of the review, it seems the minimum for the removal is $150. I had a dresser and maybe 4 or so small boxes worth of items to remove, and this was quoted to me as just hitting the minimum.- I suggest calling to schedule the service and to ensure you receive confirmation. I had scheduled online, and while I had gotten a digital confirmation, it didn't have any details about pricing or other information.

I was tasked with cleaning out the apartment of a family friend who passed away. I got Junk Master's name from Bridging in Bloomington because I wanted as much of my friend's furniture as possible to be donated to a good cause. Will and Joe showed up promptly and began the job of moving 30 or so pieces of furniture from the apartment to the truck. It was a LONG walk between the two (60 yards?), and they had to go from the second floor to the first. Most often they could use the elevator, but not always. They accomplished the job in a friendly and competent manner, taking great care with what they were moving. Maybe more importantly, this was a Senior Indepndent Living building, and a lot of residents wanted to know what was going on. Will and Joe patiently answered questions and interacted with the observing Senior. I was VERY impressed with their concern for their work, their concern for those 'observing', and their concern for finishing the job efficiently. Thank you, Will and Joe, and Junk Masters!!

Mitch came out to look at the job, I had an estimate and a very clear explanation of the bid in less than 24 hours, the agreement was easy to e-sign. Junk Masters did an incredible job. I had some old dance flooring and props at my dance studio that took up space and got in the way. I finally googled junk removal near me. Of course, a big-name franchise came up first but I scrolled down and am so happy I did!I scheduled online the evening before and got a next-day pick-up. Tyler and Paul called ahead to let me know when they would arrive and were right on time. They gave me an on-site quote which was less than I was expecting and started hauling my mess away. The guys were great. Price was a bit steep. Disappointed that some of the things they removed from my little barn will only go to junk or incinerator. Big shelf behind ladder contained new small combination window, and vintage mirrored medicine cabinet. Then, there were 11 wooden doors in good shape. All things my dad had kept for years. Went from that congested area to a space that allows me to access my equipment after I did a deep clean.

The two movers who came to our home, Will and Robert were terrific. They moved a very heavy sofa sleeper down stairs and a couple large sofas around corners and out the door. Another hauling service was a no call/no show to my appointment, then called later to see if they could reschedule me at their convenience. Because Heck had not frozen over, I passed on the 1-800-GOT-HOSED repeat adventure and contacted Junk Masters. It was incredibly easy to book online, and they made good on every promise (to call, to help, to offer a great rate). Tyler and Paul were incredible - friendly, funny, easy going, very professional, and respectful of both me and my stuff (they deserve their own franchise or nine); my donations were on and gone in moments ... and the final price was a significant savings over the other idiots. Now that I'm on the far side of the haul, I'm glad it felt apart with the first service; I cannot recommend Junk Masters enough. Please treat yourself to a better experience and call them first; you won't be sorry.

We had a lot of furniture and household items that we wanted to be sure could be donated rather than taken to the landfill. Junk Masters was the perfect fit for this need based on their working relationship with the Twin Cities nonprofit organization, Bridging. In addition, the Junk Masters team was incredibly responsive to our initial call for an estimate and were quick to schedule our appointment. The team that did the job was punctual and friendly. In fact, every one of our interactions with any Junk Masters team member was friendly. My sense was that the job took a bit more time and muscle than the team anticipated. Nevertheless they stuck to the fixed quote they gave me prior to starting the work. I would recommend Junk Masters to anyone wanting a hauler that does what they say they will do, when they say they will do it and for the price they promised.

Called for a same day removal. Original call was at 10:30am. Estimate and removal was scheduled to be done by 2:00pm. Turns out they had a huge pickup before us (hot tub, safe, bedroom set). They called to keep us updated and everything was picked up by 3:30pm. Communication was great. The service was reasonably priced and everything was done as expected. We would absolutely use them again. I would recommend the team that worked on our job; however, I am not able to remember the names.

Quite a bit more expensive than I’d prepared for given the tentative quote over the phone (I did have an extra item I didn’t mention when getting the quote because I’d forgotten, but it was still a tremendous jump in price, ultimately close to double when the extra item was a small ottoman). That aside, they were exactly as advertised — timely, efficient, and professional. Not to mention kind. One of the haulers mentioned during casual chat that his day had started 5 hours ago — 5 hours of hauling junk around and you’re still massively friendly? I wouldn’t be, that’s for sure. Much respect. All in all a great experience, I’d say just be *really* really detailed when describing your items and hopefully the gap between quote and reality won’t be quite as cast as mine was.

I really recommend using Junk Masters if you need anything removed from your home. They were able to price match another big name competitor that wasn’t local to Minneapolis. I was able to text a picture of my couch for an estimate and set everything up via text as well. Their communication was amazing and they showed up right on time and hauled it away in less than 15 minutes (it was a HUGE reclining L-shaped couch). From start to finish, it was a great experience!

Great experience! Easily scheduled and reasonably priced. As promised they called 20 minutes before arrival. Two very nice men moved a very heavy and floppy king mattress out of the bedroom. Then went the extra mile of moving our new replacement mattress, out of its delivery crate and into the bedroom. Mattress and crate were loaded into the truck and all was finished in very short time. Great guys and great customer service.

We had Junk Masters take away a number of items this past Sunday. I highly recommend this company. It was fortunate that we went with JM and not someone else. I sincerely hope that this company knows how well-represented they were by the two individuals, Blake & Otto, that came to our home. Junk Masters was definitely a GREAT Choice for us to clear out my Father's home, after his passing. Mitch came out and gave a us a quote, then the very next day, Otto, Carter and Braden, came out and cleared out my Father's home of 60 years as I watched from afar. The empathy and extreme care they took in removing these items from his house was all I could hope for. Even though they were going to dispose of everything, never once did they treat his belongings like junk. Also when they completed an area, Otto or Carter took me on a walk through to make sure nothing was missed. Truly amazing service. The before and after shots really show what they can do. Oh and by the way, it cost even less than Mitch estimated. Otto showed amazing leadership with his Team. And Mitch (The Owner!) treated me like his best friend. They removed an old couch and several landscaping railroad ties. The railroad ties are crazy heavy and not every dump accepts them (which I found out last year when trying to get rid of several others). Super happy with the service and price. So worth me not hurting my back trying to haul them to the dump myself.

Scheduling was super easy. I had a small job, but top floor of an old building with no elevator. These guys communicated from arrival to departure. These two young men came out to give me a quote and they were so professional and polite. I ended up having them remove an entire one bedroom condo all the furnishings and junk left from renters as well as A kitchen and a bathroom that we removed, flooring stores etc. They fit it all into one and a quarter truck and charge me accordingly. They actually charge me less than the original quote. Another company told me it would take three trucks the same size. You guys are great and I would highly recommend you

My first time using Junk Masters was a stellar experience. Despite have a slight scheduling issue, they were able to bring in another crew to help due to the volume of stuff we had to clear. They were very courteous and careful as well as quick about the entire process. Within a couple hours they had an entire house cleaned of furniture and excess stuff including a large upright piano. Very pleased!

Unbelievably fast response. I called a couple others with one saying yeah I will get it tomorrow, that was three days ago and never heard from him again after a couple phone calls. Mitch and his crew from Junk Masters were very professional and friendly, and they worked around my schedule. They had the right equipment and did a great job removing my chain link fence and poles that were cemented in. They hauled away the fence, a concrete pile, and various other items from our home. I appreciate that they recycled the metal and even the concrete. I’d highly recommend them and will be using them the next time I have junk to dispose of.

In the past 14 years I have written one Yelp review for a restaurant and no Google reviews. It's just not my thing. That said, I am taking the time to sing the praises of Junk Masters because they really did an amazing job.We are getting ready to move soon and we had a backroom in our basement full of things we really could not deal with: old furniture, boxes of knick-knacks, old coffee makers, scrap wood, and random large things that would just not be allowed "out on the curb" for our weekly garbage man.We also had a giant shed in our backyard that had just been demolished to make room for our garden.We found Junk Masters online based on their positive reviews, and were impressed by how they try to repurpose and find good homes for useful items.Let me tell you, it can be an embarrassing, strange feeling to let someone into your house and say "We just don't know how to deal with these items."Peyton and Otto showed up on time, were totally professional and friendly, and no matter what I said "...This is such a mess" or "I don't know if you'll be able to deal with that" every single answer was, literally, "No problem! - Totally easy! - We do this all the time." -- I felt so relieved and so thankful.Within a little more than an hour, our giant shed was gone and our basement room which had been packed to the ceiling for more than a decade was totally empty. - Empty to the floor! - It was such a great, unbelievable feeling.The money we spent on Junk Masters was worth every penny, and I don't hesitate to say that this was the best customer experience "experience" I've had in at least 3+ years. Had a great experience today!! Reached out yesterday evening via text to get a quote for removal of a disassembled shed and some beat up patio furniture. Was thrilled to get an immediate response(on a Sunday evening no less). Set up for a team to come out today to give me an estimate. Communication was great with several email reminders and a 30 minute call ahead warning. Mitch and his partner(sorry can't remember his name) were friendly and surveyed what they needed to remove. Mitch gave me a quote and I accepted and the immediately did the job. Also told me I didn't need to stick around so I could take care of other things. Mitch sent be photos of before and after plus the truck to show the work completed. Conveniently able to pay via a link sent via text once the job was completed. This could not have been a better experience!! Will be using Junk Masters in the future!!!

Four out of five stars. Crew was able to come earlier than originally scheduled. They were careful of furniture and walls getting 2 large dressers out of a small bedroom .It’s wet, cold and snowy here. They were not careful about wet shoes; we needed to ask them to either remove shoes or get booties so as not to track on a light colored rug. We had put down a plastic runner but they did not get the hint to stay on it.Price was as expected. Not inexpensive but worth it.

I think the crews were professional and courteous. I will definitely recommend to others.I am skeptical about reuse and recycling of the stuff that was hauled off though. The main reason we chose to go with Junk Masters was the strong promotion of donating the items.When I saw stuff being put in the truck though I saw a lot of items simply tossed in the truck and I had a hard time believing those things would arrive at a donation center intact and I damaged.

Junk Masters came out to remove my outdoor hot tub, which was in pretty rough shape. The quote was done properly, they showed up exactly when they said they would, and I couldn't believe how fast they got that hot tub out of my yard! I had a few other things I was thinking about getting rid of and asked if they could take it when they arrived that morning, and they added what I thought was a fair price and took everything I needed gone.They closed the gates when they were done. I found JunkMasters online. Website is easy to understand and VERY easy to use! I was able to pick a “pick up” date in 2 days with a 2 hour window. All very important. This a review from 2020. The best firm for closing down an office. I started my search by interviewing five companies for quotes. Mitch was spot on in providing an estimate. We had them out to remove a 20-year-old hot tub that was *inside* the house. They came out with a big team and got the job done in record time. I was particularly impressed with how careful they were with not just the house but even our yard, and they took care of removing and replacing the patio door themselves. Mitch will come to your place or business, get things from your house and garage you don't want or need, recycle or donate what they can, and do so as quickly as they can. Junk Masters understands that when you call, you probably need something moved in a timely manner. They are a good company for move outs, storage unit clean outs, foreclosure clean outs, cleaning out your business due to moving locations, businesses closing, as well as cleaning out schools at the end of the school year. They can usually haul just about anything that fits in the truck and if they can't they will tell you before they come out.

These guys are the best - we have hired them several times to remove items like old grills, carpet, furniture, etc. No issues with heavy, challenging sized items. they are positive, professional and responsive. Also, always on time and cleaned up before they left. Wish all business were run like this - seriously.

They were prompt and courteous. I thought the price was very reasonable. They removed 5-6 pieces of furniture and some other things that just needed to go. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again.
