I contacted JunkMasters to help remove some items from a move out. They were able to schedule a service the same week... as I wanted things removed, and were able to do it quickly and for a reasonable price. Would overall recommend.A few notes:- As of the date of the review, it seems the minimum for the removal is $150. I had a dresser and maybe 4 or so small boxes worth of items to remove, and this was quoted to me as just hitting the minimum.- I suggest calling to schedule the service and to ensure you receive confirmation. I had scheduled online, and while I had gotten a digital confirmation, it didn't have any details about pricing or other information.read more

I was tasked with cleaning out the apartment of a family friend who passed away. I got Junk Master's name from... Bridging in Bloomington because I wanted as much of my friend's furniture as possible to be donated to a good cause. Will and Joe showed up promptly and began the job of moving 30 or so pieces of furniture from the apartment to the truck. It was a LONG walk between the two (60 yards?), and they had to go from the second floor to the first. Most often they could use the elevator, but not always. They accomplished the job in a friendly and competent manner, taking great care with what they were moving. Maybe more importantly, this was a Senior Indepndent Living building, and a lot of residents wanted to know what was going on. Will and Joe patiently answered questions and interacted with the observing Senior. Guys were great and hauled off my limited items swiftly. It was a tad on the pricey side because they price things... based on volume/truck space. I had 5 large empty boxes that were too difficult for me to break down so that counted against me. Would have been great pricing if I had just junk taking up that space, haha! The empathy and extreme care they took in removing these items from his house was all I could hope for. Even though they were going to dispose of everything, never once did they treat his belongings like junk. Also when they completed an area, Otto or Carter took me on a walk through to make sure nothing was missed. Truly amazing service. The before and after shots really show what they can do. Had a great experience today!! Reached out yesterday evening via text to get a quote for removal of a disassembled shed... and some beat up patio furniture.
